VACUUM FORMING

Vacuum FormingIt is a complicated process – there's a lot more to it than just banging out parts; and Mercury Plastics has been an acknowledged leader for over 55 years.

Mercury has the expertise to understand and master both the art and the science of vacuum forming. Our reputation in the POP industry reflects our quality and our know-how. Our capacity consists of:

  • Four (4) in-line auto feed high speed forming machines, primarily for clamshells, blister packs, and low cost product trays; sizes up to 30” x 36”
  • Six (6) rotary forming machines, primarily for larger and heavier gauged parts; sizes up to 48” x 72” and up to 30” depth of draw
  • Twelve (12) single station forming machines primarily for smaller production runs and more finely detailed parts; sizes up to 60” x 96”.

Although disappointed that our other capabilities at times get overlooked, we are aware that the marketplace considers Mercury Plastics first and foremost a leader in the thermoforming arena by virtue of our extensive experience and overall competence. This is our challenge, and we continually perform to meet that expectation.
